The Writer’s Block: Kei Miller

Kei Miller is a Jamaican poet, novelist, essayist, and short story writer. He holds an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University and a PhD in English Literature from the University of Glasgow. His most recent book of essays was awarded the 2014 Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature (non-fiction). His 2014 collection, The Cartographer Tries to Map a Way to Zion won the Forward Prize for Best Collection and was shortlisted for the 2014 International Dylan Thomas Prize.

In this video, Kei Miller talks with Sampsonia Way about the many varieties of English, the benefits of blogging, and the dichotomy between page poetry and stage poetry.
