Generation Zero includes 16 short stories, selected and edited by Havana-based writer Orlando Luis Pardo Lazo. Featured are works by Abel Fernández-Larrea, Ahmel Echevarría Peré, Carlos Esquivel, Erick Mota, Gleyvis Coro Montanet, Jhortensia Espineta, Jorge Alberto Aguiar Díaz, Jorge Enrique Lage, Lia Villares, Lien Carrazana, Lizabel Mónica, Michel Encinosa Fú, Orlando Luis Pardo Lazo, Osdany Morales, Polina Martínez Shviétsova, and Raúl Flores. Cover illustrations are by Havana-based graffiti artist Danilo Maldonado (known as “El Sexto”) and Luis Trápaga.Translators include Mary Jo Porter, Zachary Tackett, Maria Lourdes Capote, Karen Gonzalez, Alison Macomber, Guillermo Parra, David Iaconangelo, Diana Alvarez-Amell, and Juan O. Tamayo.

On January 31, 2014 City of Asylum hosted a reading to celebrate the launch of Generation Zero. 90.5 WESA’s Josh Raulerson and award-winning author Angie Cruz read selections from the anthology.
