Judith Torrea has won several international journalism awards for her work reporting on drug trafficking. In 2011 her blog, “Juárez en la Sombra del Narcotráfico (Juárez Under the Shadow of Drug Trafficking),” won the 2011 Best of Blogs Award in the Reporters without Borders category.
