Fiction writer, photographer, editor, webmaster of Vercuba and Centronelio.
He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from ISPJAE University, Havana.
He has published the narrative books Inventario (Unión, 2007), Esquirlas (Letras Cubanas, 2006) and Días de Entrenamiento (FRA, Prague, Czech Republic, 2012). He has been included in several Cuban literary anthologies, such as: Los Que Cuentan (Cajachina, 2007), La Ínsula Fabulante: El Cuento Cubano en la Revolución 1959-2008 (Letras Cubanas, 2008) and La Fiamma in Bocca: Giovanni Narratori Cubani (Voland, 2009). His novels Pastel Para Pitbulls, La Noria, and Búfalos Camino al Matadero are to be published this year in Cuba.
As a columnist he has collaborated with the independent digital magazine VOCES, Diario de Cuba, The Revolution Evening Post, and the Dialogue Section of the Hermanos Saíz Association.
He resides in Havana.

“My generation is called Generation Year Zero, an idea of the writer Orlando Luis Pardo. His intention was to give substance, voice and visibility to what a group of friends was doing in narrative. We were few, a group that shared readings, criteria, some points of contact in our emerging literature. In addition, we began to publish our books in 2000. What distinguishes us is dispersion, no thematic convergence, the apparent diversity of styles, apathy, fragmentation. I think none of us has the pretension of writing the “great book”. Not too much spirit of resistance (how often can you find a literary critics from the perspective of our generation, who would write it?). That might be the sign, the effect of these times (this thing that came after the Special Period) upon us. You can assume that what separates us is, paradoxically, what brings us together. By now I can say, unequivocally, that our literary landscape hasn’t changed so much. Only that we are less young and a little more cunning now.” Read more.
