On June 18, the New Hazlett Theater will present ‘Speaking of…Noir!’—a night of mystery stories, dubstep/ballet/break dance fusion, soul and jazz, and the spoken word.

As a collaboration between ‘Speaking of…’ (an arts series founded in 2010 on Pittsburgh’s Northshore) and Akashic Books (publishers of the legendary Noir series), the evening features the stories of National Book Award Winner Terrance Hayes, Paul Lee, local legend K.C. Constantine and many others, including two Cave Canem fellows, Laura Yes Yes and Mahogany Browne.

The event begins at 8 p.m., and tickets, which will be $10 at the door, can be purchased for $8 online here.
