The Writer’s Block: A Video Q&A with Fariba Hachtroudi

Writer and advocate Fariba Hachtroudi is the author of four novels and several works of nonfiction. Born in Tehran in 1951, she left the country after the Cultural Revolution. After thirty years in exile, she returned to Iran, an experience she wrote about in her 2009 book The Twelfth Imam’s a Woman?. The Man Who Snapped His Fingers is her English language debut.
