On January 9th, Moth Storyhour Grand Slam winner David Harris-Gershon came to City of Asylum/Pittsburgh to read from his newly-published memoir, What Do You Buy the Children of the Terrorist Who Tried to Kill Your Wife?
David Harris-Gershon is a blogger for Tikkun magazine, a GrandSLAM storytelling winner for The Moth, a day school teacher, and a freelance writer on Israel, the Middle East and America’s role in the region. He has recently published work in Colorado Review, The Jerusalem Post, AlterNet, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) and elsewhere. David received an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
