Repression of the press is a puzzle, and the pieces can take many forms: outright censorship by the state is one form, but the attack on the international press in Egypt (accusing them of biased reporting and lies) might be considered another. On December 29, 2013 four Al Jazeera journalists were arrested in Cairo.
