Pittsburgh Literary Round-Up

For people who are interested in the local literary scene and want to know more about when and where to go, Sampsonia Way’s literary calendar is a comprehensive source for information on events of all types and genres happening around town.
This Saturday, the Cyberpunk Apocalypse Writer’s Co-Op (a cooperative work/event space, residency program and publication based in Upper Lawrenceville) invites people to present whatever cool, creative project they’ve been working on for the past month. The event begins at 7 p.m. and a $2-4 donation is requested.
On Wednesday, Jim Cvetic hosts the latest event in Hemingway’s Cafe 2011 Summer Poetry Series, featuring a reading by local poets Jill Khoury, Roberta Hatcher, Steve Murabito & Mike Schneider. The free event begins at 8 p.m. in the back room of Hemingway’s Cafe in Oakland.
